As a management tool I think that Google Reader will be a great time saver. When I think of the amount of time I have spent "surfing" my favorite sites looking for new information! I have been busy cutting and pasting the blog addresses into reader. My next mission...Zotero!
There is so much information available. The big trick is managing the flow and paying attention to the things that you want.

I like reader too, although it's a little overwelming, google docs though has been really useful for me and in my class.
